Deutsche hires new boss for SE Asia from HSBC

Sandeep Pahwa will lead the German bank's global banking team in Southeast Asia later this summer.

Deutsche Bank has appointed Sandeep Pahwa as managing director and head of global banking for Southeast Asia. Pahwa was most recently with HSBC in London, where he was managing director and global head of media and entertainment investment banking and corporate banking.

In his newly created position at Deutsche, Pahwa will oversee the bankÆs equity-linked business as well as mergers and acquisitions. Joining the German bank later this summer, he will be based in Singapore and report to Lee Zhang,...
