Wallace leaves JPMorgan for private equity firm

The former head of Asia-Pacific capital markets joins Franklin Templeton's Darby unit as senior managing director in the region.

Following news last week that JPMorganÆs head of Asia-Pacific capital markets, Sean Wallace, had resigned from the firm, US-based Darby Overseas Investments yesterday announced that Wallace will be joining them in April as a senior managing director responsible for Asia-Pacific.

Darby, which is the private equity arm of Franklin Templeton Investments, says Wallace will be based in Hong Kong and will focus on attracting additional funds to support the firmÆs existing mezzanine activities in Asia and help expand...
