Goldman hires ex-IMF and India finance ministry official

Goldman Sachs said on Monday it has named Prachi Mishra as a managing director and chief India economist. She will be based in Mumbai.

Prior to joining Goldman, Mishra was the deputy division chief of the Western Hemisphere Department at the International Monetary Fund IMF.
