Tongkun Group Co lead the way in ECM this week, as Indonesia reaches the highest year-to-date volume on record with $18.4 billion via 23 deals this week.

Asia (ex Japan) ECM volume stands at $2.0 billion via 22 deals so far this week compared to the $2.3 billion via 23 deals completed in the previous week.

Chinese issuer Tongkun Group Co completed a $547 million convertible via Caitong Securities and Guosen Securities in what is the largest Asia (ex Japan) ECM transaction this week.

Asia (ex Japan) Chemicals ECM volume stands at $7.8 billion via 75 deals in 2018 year-to-date, down from $8.8 billion via 108 deals in the same 2017 period and the lowest year-to-date volume since 2015 ($5.2billion).

Goldman Sachs leads the Asia (ex Japan) ECM market with $15.6 billionn, followed by Citi with $12.5 billion and Morgan Stanley with $11.6 billion

Asia (ex Japan) international DCM volume stands at $6.7 billion via 12 deals so far this week compared to $8.0 billion via 23 deals in the previous week.       

Chinese issuer, Zhongyuan Bank issued a bond with $1.4 billion in proceeds via a consortium of 17 banks in what is the largest in Asia (ex Japan) international DCM transaction this week.

In Asia (ex Japan) International DCM, Indonesia reached the highest year-to-date volume on record with $18.4 billion via 23 deals compared to second largest in 2017 year-to-date with $16.6 billion via 27 deals.

HSBC leads the Asia(ex Japan) international DCM league with $24.2 billion. This is followed by Citi with $17.2 billion and Standard Chartered Bank with $14.5 billion.
