SMBC buys stake in Cambodia's biggest bank

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp. SMBC has acquired 12.25% of Cambodia’s largest bank by assets, Acleda, furthering the Japanese bank's expansion into Southeast Asia, the two banks said on Monday.
