Kemp is the new Shirriff in town at ING

Jacques Kemp replaces Phil Shirriff as new CEO in the region.

ING announced yesterday the appointment of Jacques Kemp to the position of chief executive offer of the executive committee for Asia Pacific, with effect from April 1. Kemp, who has been on the committee since July 2002, replaces Phil Shirriff, who will retire in March.

Kemp has previously served on ING's corporate and investment banking executive committee, as well as being the bank's global head of e-business.
