FinanceAsia.com tops one million page views in March

Annual traffic grows at a rate of 250% as more and more readers are attracted to the site''s financial markets content.

FinanceAsia.com reached a milestone in March clocking up 1.08 million page views for the month, a substantial leap from the 426,000 page views recorded in March last year. More than 24,000 readers now log onto the website each day.

Statistics from March show that the most popular sections on the site are People on the Move - the section dedicated to the hiring and firing of financial markets executives - as well as news on debt and equity capital markets transactions.

In addition to entering the site through our homepage, many readers access stories via our email newsletters. Our Daily newsletter was initially set up to help guide readers to new stories on the homepage, but since its inception three years ago, the number of registered subscribers receiving the Daily has grown from 2,000 to over 18,500. More than 14,000 subscribers also receive the Weekly Capital Markets roundup, which includes a dedicated Borrower of the Week profile.

Demographically, about 26% of our readers are CFOs or CEOs of corporations, 21% are institutional investors, 25% are executives from investment banks, 15% are service providers (lawyers, financial technology companies and headhunters) and 13% are executives from commercial and private banks.

This month we have also launched a new bilingual FinanceChina newsletter, which carries the latest financial news and commentary on the Chinese market. The email contains deal news, interviews and profiles with China's entrepreneurs and regulators, fund management updates and investigative features.

We would like to thank our readers for your ongoing support and always welcome any feedback you may have.
