Treasury appointments, February 15

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Food Junction Holdings: Gan Chee Teik was appointed CFO of the Singapore-based food court management and food and beverage company on February 8. He replaced John Chang who resigned from the position on the same day, but continued to remain as an executive director at the company. Gan has more than 11 years of finance and accounting experience, and joined Food Junction from Min Aik International Development where he was director for corporate financial planning and analysis.

Splash Corporation: The Philippine-based company engaged in the research and development, manufacture and sale of health and beauty products announced the appointment of Fernando Manotok as vice president of management finance and business development on February 11. Manotok has more than 20 years experience in financial accounting, treasury and corporate planning. He holds a bachelor degree in accounting from Colegio San Juan De Letran and a master of business administration degree from De La Salle University Graduate School of Business.

Tulip Telecom: Rahul Ahuja was appointed CFO of the India-based enterprise data services provider on February 7. Ahuja has more than 15 years of experience in corporate banking in various roles at Bank of Nova Scotia, Barclays and GE Capital. He joined Tulip Telecom from Standard Chartered where he was team leader for the middle market business for North India.

WBL Corporation: The Singapore-based investment holding company engaged in technology, automotive and engineering manufacturing and property development, announced the resignation of CFO Victoria Ko on February 10. Ko, who is responsible for financial control, treasury, tax and information technology management, will leave the company on May 10.

Z-Obee Holdings: Tong Chi Cheong was appointed CFO of the Hong Kong and Singapore-listed mobile handset distribution and marketing, solution, and assembly company on February 6. He replaced Shum Hoi Luen who resigned on the same day. Tong has more than 20 years of accounting experience and holds a bachelor degree in business studies from the City University of Hong Kong. In addition, he is a fellow member of both the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
