Treasury appointments, July 6

A roundup of the latest CFO and treasurer moves from around the region.

Albedo: The Singapore-based management services provider appointed Lim Chen Wei group financial controller on June 30. He replaced Tan Cant Wee who resigned as finance manager of the company on the same day. Lim joined Albedo from LifeBrandz where he also held the position of group financial controller. He will be responsible for all the financial and accounting functions of the company.

China Auto Electronics Group: Jeffrey Yu Ting Kwan was appointed chief financial officer of the mainland China-based automobile electrical and electronics distribution system manufacturer on June 29. Kwan's executive responsibilities include reporting, accounting, financial investment reviews and taxation advisory of the company. He joined China Auto Electronics Group from Ernst and Young Singapore where he was an audit manager and will replace Li Zhongsheng who was previously appointed acting CFO.

Federal-Mogul Goetze: The India-based automotive component manufacturer, supplier and distributor appointed Dan Brugger CFO on June 26. Brugger replaced former CFO Rustin Murdock who resigned on the same day. Murdock will continue to work at Federal-Mogul Goetze as the director of the finance department.

First Gen Corporation: Emmanuel P Singson was appointed treasurer of the Philippine-based power generation company on June 28 after several key management changes. Singson will assume the duties of former CFO Francis Giles B Puno who was appointed president and chief operating officer following the resignations of Federico R Lopez and Richard B Tantoco.

Hengyang Petrochemical Logistics: Liu Yang resigned from her position as vice general manager of finance of the Singapore-based petrochemical logistics services provider on June 28 for health related issues. CFO, Li Yi, and the finance team will temporarily assume Liu's responsibilities while the company actively seeks a suitable replacement.

TMC Education Corporation: The Singapore-based school operations service provider promoted Johnny Sheok Yeow Yeo to CFO on July 1. Yeo was previously group financial controller at the company, a position he held since joining in October 2009. He has more than 15 years' experience in financial and accounting departments at listed companies and joined TMC from The Grand Group where he was CFO for five years. He holds a master of business administration degree from Nanyang Technological University and a bachelor of commerce degree from Murdoch University. In addition he is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore.
