Calyon moves global head of FX strategy to Asia

London-based FX strategist Mitul Kotecha will follow the rising sun in a move to Hong Kong.

Calyon's head of global foreign exchange strategy is moving to Hong Kong from London in another sign of Asia's growing importance to the investment banking industry.

Mitul Kotecha will continue to lead the global FX and commodities research teams, but will spend more time focusing on Asian regional currencies and markets.
